Terms of Use

The terms governing your use of techtolead.com: permitted use, disclaimers, liability and governing law.

Last updated: 8 August 2026 · Effective from: 8 August 2026

These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your use of techtolead.com (the “Site”), operated by TechToLead (“we”, “us”). By using the Site you agree to them. If you do not, please do not use the Site. Contact: admin@techtolead.com.

1. Definitions

“Content” means everything we publish on the Site — reviews, test results, scores, comparison tables, articles, images, data and page design. “Submissions” means anything you send us. “Third-Party Sites” means any website operated by anyone other than us, including vendor sites reached from our links.

2. Use of the Site

You may access and view the Site for your own informational and non-commercial use, and for evaluating products for your organisation. You may quote short extracts for comment, criticism or review if you attribute TechToLead and link to the original page. Any other reproduction, republication or commercial use of our Content needs our written permission.

3. Prohibited activities

You must not: copy, scrape, mirror or systematically extract Content by any means; use our Content to train or ground a machine learning model without our permission; resell or republish our scores, tables or test data; interfere with the Site’s operation or security, or probe it for vulnerabilities; impersonate anyone or misrepresent your affiliation with a vendor when contacting us; upload malware; harvest personal data from the Site; or remove any source or date attribution from our Content.

4. Submissions

We do not host reviews, ratings or comments. Nothing you send is published automatically. We do welcome correction reports and feedback by email. You keep ownership of anything you send, and grant us a royalty-free, perpetual licence to act on it and use its substance to correct or improve the Site. We will not publish your name without asking. Do not send us anyone else’s personal data, confidential information, or anything false or unlawful. We are not obliged to act on a Submission and we do not pay for them.

5. Affiliate links

Some links are affiliate links and we may earn a commission if you buy after following one. It never changes your price and it does not determine rankings, scores, awards or inclusion. See our affiliate disclosure and how we test and rate, which form part of these Terms.

6. No professional advice

Our Content is research and opinion to help you evaluate products. It is not legal, regulatory, financial or security advice and must not be relied on as such. Buying and deployment decisions are yours. Where suitability depends on legal questions — common with proxies, data collection tools and privacy software — you are responsible for ensuring your intended use is lawful where you are.

7. Accuracy

The products we cover change constantly: prices, features, policies, ownership and performance can all change after a page is published. Our Content describes what we found, from the source stated, on the date stated. It is not a warranty about how a product will behave for you, at your volumes, from your location, at a later date. Figures labelled vendor-reported or attributed to a third party are passed on with attribution and are not guaranteed by us.

8. Fact and opinion

Our Content contains two kinds of statement. Facts are measurements, quoted prices and cited results — each carries its source and date and can be checked. Evaluative statements — scores, rankings, awards, and words such as “slow”, “poor value” or “best for” — are expressions of honest opinion, genuinely held, formed on the facts set out in the same article and on our published methodology, and offered as comment on a matter of public interest to buyers. They are not statements of fact about any company.

9. Right of reply and complaints

If you represent a product we have written about and believe we have a fact wrong, email admin@techtolead.com with the page URL, the statement you dispute and your evidence. We reply within two working days, re-check the statement against its source, and correct and date the page where we agree. Where the disagreement is about interpretation, we will publish your position alongside ours on request. Where we disagree, we explain why in writing.

We will not withdraw an accurate finding, remove a low score or take a page down because a commercial relationship is offered or withdrawn. If you believe Content infringes your rights or is unlawful, send a notice to the same address identifying the page, the material and the basis of your complaint.

10. Third-Party Sites

We do not control Third-Party Sites, do not endorse them by linking to them, and are not responsible for their content, products, pricing, security or privacy practices. We sell nothing and are not a party to any transaction you enter into with a vendor. We are not the seller, agent, reseller or guarantor of any product. Any claim about a product, a charge, a refund, a service failure or a data incident lies against the vendor, not against us.

11. Intellectual property

All rights in the Site and our Content, including the TechToLead name, page design, methodologies and compiled data, belong to us or our licensors. Product names and logos belong to their owners and are used for identification and editorial purposes only. Suggestions you send us may be used freely and are not confidential.

12. Warranty

Except as stated in these Terms and to the fullest extent permitted by law, the Site and all Content are provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including satisfactory quality, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy or non-infringement. We may change, suspend or withdraw any part of the Site at any time.

13. Limitation of liability

Nothing here limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything that cannot lawfully be excluded. If you are a consumer, your statutory rights are unaffected.

Subject to that, and to the fullest extent permitted by law: we are not liable for loss of profit, business, revenue, data or any indirect or consequential loss; we are not liable for loss arising from your reliance on our Content, from a product performing differently for you than in our testing, or from your dealings with a vendor; and our total aggregate liability in connection with the Site is limited to GBP 100. If you use the Site for business purposes, we accept no liability for business losses.

14. Indemnity

If you use the Site in the course of a business, you agree to indemnify us against any claims, losses and reasonable costs arising from your breach of these Terms or your misuse of the Site. This does not apply to consumers.

15. Termination and changes

We may withdraw your access if you breach these Terms. Sections 4, 8, 11, 12, 13, 14 and 16 survive termination. We may update these Terms; the version on this page is the one in force, and continuing to use the Site after a change means you accept it.

16. Governing law

The Site is operated from the United Kingdom and read worldwide. We make no representation that our Content or the products we review are lawful or available in every country — VPNs, proxies and data collection tools in particular are restricted in some jurisdictions, and you are responsible for compliance with your local law.

These Terms and any dispute arising from them or from anything we publish are governed by the laws of England and Wales. If you are a business, including any company whose products we review, disputes shall be finally resolved by arbitration under the Rules of the London Court of International Arbitration, seat London, one arbitrator, in English. If you are a consumer, that arbitration clause does not apply, nothing here deprives you of the mandatory consumer protections of the country where you live, and you may bring proceedings in your local courts. Any claim must be brought within one year of the cause of action arising, so far as the law permits.

17. Contact
