Oxylabs is a Lithuanian proxy and web data company built for business and enterprise teams that care more about performance than the lowest price. It sells residential, mobile, ISP and datacenter proxies, plus Web Unblocker and Web Scraper API for harder web scraping jobs. In this Oxylabs review we look at proxy types and coverage, what you’ll really pay under the credit-based plans, performance in independent tests, KYC and IP sourcing, and what users on G2 and Trustpilot say. Prices, KYC and refund terms were checked on Oxylabs’ own pages on 27 October 2026.
Our verdict
Oxylabs is one of the strongest proxy networks you can buy. Its residential pool was the largest Proxyway measured in 2026, with a 99.93% success rate, and its ISP and dedicated datacenter prices are low for an enterprise provider. With a $30 entry plan, you also don’t need an enterprise budget to start.
The catch is how you pay. Residential traffic is expensive on small plans, there’s no pay-as-you-go, unused credit expires at the end of each billing cycle, every customer has to complete KYC, and self-service purchases can’t be refunded. If you only need a few gigabytes a month, a simpler provider will cost you less.

Oxylabs proxy types and network
Oxylabs sells four proxy types. Here’s how they compare.
| Type | Pool | Price | Best for |
|---|---|---|---|
| Residential | 175M+ IPs, 195 countries | $6 → $2.50/GB | Localized scraping at scale |
| Mobile | 20M+ IPs, 140+ countries | $7.50 → $3.50/GB | Mobile-only platforms and app checks |
| ISP (static residential) | Not disclosed | $1.50 → $1.10/IP shared; $3 → $2.20/IP dedicated | Long sessions on a stable IP |
| Datacenter | Up to 1.9M dedicated IPs in 188 countries | $0.60 → $0.40/GB or $1 → $0.60/IP shared; $2 → $1.20/IP dedicated | Fast, high-volume jobs |
Residential proxies. Oxylabs residential proxies draw on more than 175 million IPs in 195 countries. They rotate automatically, or you can hold the same IP for up to 24 hours with a sticky session. Targeting by continent, country, state, city, ZIP code, coordinates and ASN is included at no extra cost, which makes localized scraping easy.
Mobile proxies. These route your requests through mobile carrier IPs, with country and ASN targeting and sticky sessions when you need to keep one IP for a while.
ISP proxies. Static IPs registered to internet providers but hosted on datacenter servers, so you get a residential-looking address with datacenter stability. Each IP allows up to 100 concurrent sessions, which suits account work and other tasks where a changing IP causes trouble.
Datacenter proxies. Choose shared IPs to keep costs down or dedicated IPs that only you use, for long sessions and high-frequency requests. Each IP allows 100 concurrent sessions, dropping to 10 for the rest of the month after heavy use (50 GB per shared IP, 100 GB per dedicated IP).
Coverage and protocols. All proxy types work over HTTP, HTTPS and SOCKS5, and residential and mobile proxies have no cap on concurrent sessions.
Oxylabs pricing: what you’ll actually pay
Oxylabs now uses one credit-based monthly subscription for all its self-service products. You buy a plan, the dollar amount goes onto a shared balance, and each product draws from it at its own rate. Bigger plans unlock lower rates.
| Plan | Monthly price | Residential | Mobile | Web Unblocker |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Welcome credit | $5 once | $6/GB | $7.50/GB | $7.20/GB |
| Starter | $30 | $6/GB (5 GB) | $7.50/GB | $7.20/GB |
| Basic | $100 | $5/GB (20 GB) | $6.67/GB | $6/GB |
| Flexible | $500 | $4/GB (125 GB) | $5/GB | $4.80/GB |
| Enterprise | From $2,500 | $2.50/GB (1,000+ GB) | $3.50/GB | $3/GB |
ISP and datacenter proxies draw from the same balance at the per-IP and per-GB rates in the table above. Web Scraper API starts at $0.50 per 1,000 results for general targets, with separate rates for sites such as Google and Amazon.
Billing details worth knowing.
- Every new account gets a one-time $5 welcome credit you can spend on any product.
- Unused credit expires at the end of the billing cycle. It only carries over if you upgrade mid-cycle.
- Top-ups land on your balance immediately, but they also expire at the end of the current cycle.
- There’s no pay-as-you-go: once the welcome credit is used, you need an active plan.
- All self-service purchases are non-refundable.
What that means in practice. If you need about 20 GB of residential traffic a month, the $100 Basic plan covers it exactly at $5/GB. The same 20 GB costs $80 pay-as-you-go at Decodo and $160 at Bright Data‘s list rate. If your usage creeps up to 25 GB, you’ll need a top-up or the $500 Flexible plan, and whatever you don’t use by the end of the month is gone. So pick the plan that matches your real monthly usage, not your best guess at peak.
Performance
In Proxyway’s April 2026 tests, the Oxylabs residential pool was the largest of any provider tested and reached a 99.93% success rate, with an average response time of 0.60 seconds (median 0.51 s). The US-only pool scored 99.40% at 0.65 seconds. Mobile proxies hit 99.84% globally, and rotating US datacenter proxies reached 99.98% with 0.22-second responses and about 50 MB/s downloads, though Proxyway saw about 22,000 unique US datacenter IPs against roughly 41,000 advertised.
These are third-party results, not Oxylabs’ own figures, and Proxyway hasn’t published ISP proxy results yet. Your numbers will depend on the target site, location and proxy type, so use the welcome credit to test the sites you care about.
Oxylabs Web Unblocker and other tools
Oxylabs Web Unblocker is built for sites with tough anti-bot protection. It runs through a single proxy endpoint and handles IP rotation, sessions, JavaScript rendering and CAPTCHA solving for you. You pay per GB of successfully extracted data, so failed requests don’t eat your balance. Web Scraper API returns parsed results from target sites without you running proxies at all.
Around them you get the OxyCopilot AI assistant, dashboard analytics, a single backconnect entry point and an Endpoint Generator that builds proxy connection strings for you.
Integrations. Oxylabs works with Selenium, Puppeteer, Playwright and Scrapy, anti-detect browsers such as Multilogin, AdsPower, Incogniton and BitBrowser, and tools including SwitchyOmega, ZeroOmega, Shadowrocket and Octoparse.
Getting started: signup, KYC and support
You can buy any product straight from the dashboard, with no sales call. Before you get access, though, every customer fills in a KYC questionnaire: company name, industry and date of incorporation, contact details, your business model and planned use case. The risk team may ask for documents. Some target categories, such as mailing, banking and government sites, stay restricted, and extra checks can unlock them.
Support. Support is available 24/7, and the documentation is extensive: setup guides, API reference, integration examples and troubleshooting. Larger customers work with an account manager, but Oxylabs doesn’t publish which plan includes one or what SLA you get, so ask sales before you sign.
The learning curve. Between four proxy types, two scraping tools and a shared credit balance, expect to spend some time in the docs before everything clicks.
Is Oxylabs legit and safe?
Oxylabs was founded in 2015 and is run by oxylabs, UAB in Vilnius, Lithuania. It grew out of the Tesonet ecosystem and stayed bootstrapped until July 2026, when it raised $130 million from Warburg Pincus at a valuation of about $3.6 billion. It also owns Webshare and ScrapingBee, and says it serves 15,000+ clients.
On IP sourcing, Oxylabs says residential proxies come only from people who know they’re part of the network and have given explicit consent. Under its own Tier A+ standard, those participants are also paid. According to its trust center, it holds ISO/IEC 27001:2022 for its residential and datacenter proxies and scraper APIs, and Web Scraper API and Web Unblocker have passed a SOC 2 Type 2 audit. It also declares GDPR and CCPA compliance.
So, is Oxylabs legit? Yes. It’s an established company with published sourcing rules, independent security audits and vetting of every customer. Whether it’s safe for your project depends on staying within its terms of service.
Best use cases
Web scraping. With an Oxylabs proxy pool behind your scraper, you can collect large amounts of data from many sites and regions and get accurate local results.

Price and ad monitoring. Use Oxylabs proxies to track prices, competitor offers and ad campaigns across many countries.
Real estate and e-commerce data. Use an Oxylabs proxy to collect listings and product data such as prices, availability, specifications and changes to offers.
Brand protection. Oxylabs proxy infrastructure helps you monitor sites in different regions for unauthorized use of your brand, suspicious offers and other violations.
What users say
For this Oxylabs review we read user feedback on G2, where it holds 4.5/5 from 424 reviews (checked on 20 October 2026), and on Trustpilot, where it holds 3.9/5 from 773 reviews (checked on 27 October 2026).
Users most often praise proxy quality and stability, speed and precise geotargeting. They also rate the range of proxy types, the scraping infrastructure, the documentation and the support team.
The most common complaint is cost, especially for small projects, followed by a product and pricing structure that’s harder to follow than simpler providers’. Some reviewers find the scraping APIs limited or pricey for their use case, and for simple, low-traffic jobs the service can feel like overkill.
