Affiliate Disclosure
TechToLead earns commission on some links. What that means and what it does not buy.
Last updated: 8 August 2026
Some links on TechToLead are affiliate links. If you click one and buy something, the vendor may pay us a commission. You pay the same price either way — the commission comes out of the vendor’s margin, not your bill.
This is how the site is funded. It pays for the paid accounts and test time behind our reviews, which is why we can publish without a paywall and without selling advertising to the companies we cover.
What commission does not buy
- Not a ranking. Position in a comparison table is decided by the evidence in the review.
- Not a score. Commercial terms are not one of our criteria.
- Not an award. One per vendor, one dimension each, decided on verified numbers.
- Not inclusion. We cover products that pay us nothing and recommend them when they are the better answer.
- Not silence. Where a vendor we earn from performs badly, we publish it.
- Not editorial control. No vendor previews or approves an article.
We do not accept paid reviews, sponsored placements or paid guest posts. Writers are not paid on how positive a review is.
What happens when you click
The link takes you to the vendor’s own site, where their terms and privacy policy apply. The vendor normally records that the visit came from us, using a cookie or a tracking parameter set on their side, so the sale can be attributed. We receive aggregate click and conversion reports — not your name, email or payment details. If you would rather not use an affiliate link, type the vendor’s address into your browser instead.
Where we have any relationship with a vendor beyond an ordinary affiliate arrangement, we disclose it on that vendor’s reviews.
